The new layer cakes are wonderful to work with! You get forty 10" x 10" pieces from a line of fabric. I made up my own pattern using one layer cake of Moda's Maypole line. I added yardage for the inner and outer borders. You can see the kit for this quilt in the online catalog under Maypole.

While on "quilt" retreat in March, I decided to wind down after the Dallas Quilt Show by making dresses for my four precious grandaughters. (I had to buy t-shirts for the one grandson to compensate him). So, making four Wizard of Oz dresses and a couple of froggie dresses, and another sundress was quite an accomplishment. Oh, I also found the time to make one baby quilt top for grandbaby-to-be #six!

This is the fastest quilt you'll ever make - and so elegant! I wanted to do something simple that would show off the gorgeous fabrics in Moda's Chelsea's Boutique line. It's just strips and two borders and you're done! My quilter used a large feather pattern which sets it off nicely.

I made this quilt out of the first jelly roll I bought. The jelly roll is from Moda's Bound to the Prairie II. I combined it with some of the original fabric series, Bound to the Prairie. The nine patches were so easy to do with the jelly roll - no cutting those 2-1/2" strips! I set them on point with navy alternate blocks, added an inner border the same red as my setting triangles, and then another border. It's one of my favorites!

My friend Rochelle made this quilt out of the wonderful line Heritage House by P & B Textiles. It's a simple ninepatch and snowball that allows the fabric to say it all!
This is a very elegant quilt. Made with P & B Textiles Renaissance line, I call it Renaissance Ladies. I used the Tri-Recs ruler to make the perfect star points.
